Workers from the port of Rotterdam start a community in Irati, Paraná. During the 1910 decade, HBU, later ABN-AMRO bank, opens in São Paulo the South American Dutch Bank. |

First Dutch immigrant colony is founded in Carambeí, Paraná. |

New immigrants fleeing the II World War found two colonies in Paraná. |

Dutch Catholic settlers become interested in cattle-raising and agriculture in Mogi-Mirim (Holambra) |

Two protestant settlements are founded: Castrolanda, 30 km from Carambeí, Paraná and Não-me toques in Rio Grande do Sul. |

Brazilian and Dutch embassies are established in both countries. |

Foundation of Holambra II colony, in Avaré, São Paulo. |

Foundation of Parambi, Paracatu (1967), Maracaju (1973) and Unaí (1984) colonies. |

Holambra II becomes a city and is responsible for 40% of the flower production in Brazil. |
